Gadget Life Snooper scope Night Vision Technology
The Snooperscope is a nifty smartphone or tablet accessory for hunters and fishermen seeking night vision. Athletes seeking to capture their accomplishments in the dark. Ghost hunters seeking validation of their obsession. And most of all, snoops seeking to be snoopy. Using your mobile device as a screen and infrared light as a source, the Snooperscope both shows you what’s going on behind the veil of pitch blackness, and reveals some things normally hidden to the human eye in visible light.
The Snooperscope will open your ocular gates to to any world infrared rays can pass through. Maneuvering through the great outdoors post-dusk and sneaking to the kitchen for another piece of cherry pie at 3 a.m. without waking up your girlfriend are obvious applications for its night vision. But the Snooperscope can also penetrate dark areas bathed in light. Such as blacked out or redacted text, as shown in the image gallery above. Oooooh, verrrrry interesting. And when you see something you like, or something worth saving for blackmail posterity, the Snoopercope can take either a snapshot or an HD video recording of the subject matter, storing it locally on your smartphone, or on an SD card without a supplemental PC or network storage device.
Snooperscopes are compatible with iPhone, iPad, and Android smartphones and tablets. They run through a Wi-Fi direct peer-to-peer connection, meaning: 1) devices are protected with a secure video feed; and 2) you don’t need an Internet connection or router to connect to your smartphone or tablet (though you can also connect more freely and from anywhere with your Internet connection Cloud mode). Scopes also have on-board power batteries with up to 4 hours of active use that won’t leech off your mobile device.
