Letter from Sihle 4 Aug 16 Life as it is

It’s not over until you win

Thank you very much for taking time of your busy schedule and committing yourself into reading this article. The year has already elapsed I hope you have managed to achieve most of your goals yet.

I was disappointed as I was having a conversation with one class mate of mine, since it was back to class about a week ago for us I just had to ask how was her holiday’s and has been the rest of the year, is she ready for the upcoming semester? To my surprise she just said, “She just wishes it was already next year because she feels like she has failed to achieve her goals this year so she is really anticipating for a new beginning”.

I know she might not be the only one feeling this way, might also be you my dear friend, yes. You might as well feel like the year is finished and it’s already too late for you to achieve your goal or to start working on certain projects. Might be sitting helplessly waiting for the year to end, my friend today I want to advice you stop procrastinating you might be slowly killing your dreams.

2 Chronicles 15:7 “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”

I was recently checking out the list of goals I had set for myself at the beginning of the year and yes I have managed to achieve some through the help of the holy spirit and there were other’s I expected to have achieved few months back but till today I’m still fighting to achieve them, why?

Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.”For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay.

I refuse to give up my goals because I in the beginning of the year I did what the scripture emphasizes,” Writing down your goals”. Not only did I do that but I prayed and started acting towards them. Sometimes everything seems to be just a myth or just too good to be possible. But the Lord promised that it will not fail, it will certainly come, and it will not delay.

You might be close or possibly given up on the goals you had set for yourself hoping to achieve but due to challenges faced and days moving away it all seems like it’s not going to come to pass.

The break through is always on the other side. You may have to fight for it, break a certain doors. Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through or work around it. Some obstacles are put in your way to see if is really worth fighting for.

Fight for your dream it is not over until you win. You will achieve your goals.

Proverbs 16:3_commit it to the lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed. Till next week. Sihle Gwebu
